After almost two weeks of having Madeleine in our lives I'm getting around to officially welcoming her on our blog! Madeleine was born on Saturday, December 29th at 3:50pm. She weighed 7lbs. 3oz. and was 20.5 inches long. Labor was fairly short in terms of time, but not so much in terms of "labor"! My recovery was fast though and we only spent 1 night in the hospital. We're all pretty tired but happily so!

Congratulations you guys! I love the picture where Charley is standing behind Madie in the bouncer. She looks like a very proud big sister. What a blessing that your recovery has been fast. Take care and we hope to meet Madie in June!
