Memory . . . in the corner of my mind.

P7120146

I went to visit my friend Mahina's blog and she was playing this game. I left a few memories (rather than just one) on her blog because we've had some fun ones and I don't follow instructions well.

Anyway, this is how the game works...

As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember! Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. Or I'll just email you one if you don't have a blog!

So, come along and we'll see who is the better elephant. They never forget after all!

I remember sitting in your living room and singing together on the couch--and having Ameri look over at us like we're totally crazy! (Of course, after eating all of your yummy rolls, we were!) :)

I remember driving out to the Branch President's house in Port Alberni, or maybe it was on our way back from their house...but regardless, I remember you suddenly scratching at the passenger side window and screaming in a high-pitched voice that you just had to get out of the car. Then moments latter your voice got all overly calm and sticky and you said something else that was just as comical and we had a great laugh as I tried really hard to believe you weren't INSANE.

you have an incredible memory and of course i never knew about the books on the top of your car! what a bummer!

my first memory of you (and your family) was when we came to visit you in montana! i didn't really know you guys much, but that was my first memory of you.

one of my favorites is when we were in a class together at byu and the first day of class the teacher was calling roll and she called my name and your ears perked up. you turned around and asked me if my dad was bert. we made the connection that our dad's were old friends and that we knew each other! from that day on we spent a lot of time together. i remember going to the pizza place on our way to or back from your parents house and eating A LOT of pizza and discovered that we BOTH were really BIG eaters!! oh how i wish i could eat that much now a days!

hey i love your new blog! so cute!

Kristi! I found your blog through Michelle Herrington's. This is Kelly Memmott (use to be Clark) from Kamloops! How are you?! I have tons of memories from your time in Kamloops, but especially when you stayed at our house because you were companionless. You were a great missionary and a wonderful example!
