A forwarded warning.

My friend's blog had some pervert on her "Followers" list. She is very good about checking on who's following her blog, but this guy snuck in. Check who's following your blog! There are ways to block people who are also on blogspot.com, but people can still follow you without a blogger account.

Some tips:

1. Do not include your last name in your blog.
2. Do not list where you live on your blog.
3. If you have small children keep the cute bathtub, etc. pics off your blog.
4. Keep personal info to the bare minimum.
5. If your kids blog, make sure their blog is a private one.
6. MAKE YOUR BLOG PRIVATE if you are at all worried about these things!!

I have been guilty of some of these things myself. I'll be changing them right away!

Coldplay Concert

For Ameri's 30th birthday I decided to take him to a concert because he's never been to a "big" one. I thought Coldplay would be a good choice because he likes their music and it was guaranteed to be a good show! Unfortunately, he forgot to bring the ear plugs I told him to bring (those concerts are LOUD!) but we still had a great time anyway. He was surprised that I didn't need ear plugs and I told him I'm a wild woman at heart ;-)

Coldplay did not disappoint and we got to let our hair down a little. Thanks to Annette for watching the girls!

The band walked all the way to the back of the stadium for those of us who were WAY BACK . . . They did a few songs there and got the crowd really riled up. They even did an acoustic version of "Billy Jean" as a tribute to Michael Jackson.

It's How I Blog

I've decided that my type of blogging can be compared to DVDs of your favorite TV shows from Netflix. Some people like to watch for the new episode every week and some people like to wait until they can order the entire third season of "Charley & Co." as to be able to watch the entire season in one sitting. So for all of you out there that enjoy the "one sit blogging experience" stick with me!

4th of July

My brother Steve and his wife Vicki hosted our 4th of July celebration this year. They're in the middle and they have a pool so it was a natural choice!

Charley had a few firsts this summer and one of them was ballet. She has one 45 min. class per week and she loves it! She does pretty well and what she lack in grace she makes up in energy! That shouldn't be surprising . . .

I just love her in her little baby-blue leotard and pink tights!

Charley took swimming lessons for the first time this year. She and her friend Abbie from church had a great time together and Charley just keeps getting better every time she gets into the water.

Our New Membership

We've been getting different memberships to local attractions and we decided this year it was time for the zoo. Our friends Megan and Spencer bought a membership for their family too. Our first day there was spent with them - and we had a lovely time :)
