I was at church today and a well-intentioned friend said, "You look healthy today."
All I could think was, Have I been looking sick? I don't remember being sick. Was I unhealthy? Was I not wearing make-up the last time he saw me (a real possibility)?
I told him that I was getting more sleep these days and he said, "I can tell."
Here's to looking healthy!

that is so funny! i'll bet he was thinking he was giving a compliment! but only us women can appreciate the leaps the mind of a woman takes when this type of "compliment" is given! we can't just appreciate it at face value like men do, we must disect it and find the "true" meaning of it! haha!

You look beautiful as always. Aren't men funny and "well meaning" but yet, awkward. I think what he meant is that yesterday at church you just seemed to glow with happiness! I noticed that. You are really delighting in your family and it shows.
