I think I've told some of you that I am a lazy person at heart. I could sit around watching T.V. or reading books like a champion. Unfortunately, or fortunately, for the lazy girl inside of me, I've been blessed with pure Hollingshead guilt, grate and grind factors. I have Guilt (yes, with a capital "G") when my children get neglected over a "Lost" episode (THANK GOODNESS for the internet, etc.), it Grates me when papers and junk start to pile up (a little O.C.D. factor I think!) and I Grind away at the kitchen floor or the bathroom sink until they sparkle to perfect perfection after Mr. Guilt and Ms. Grate have worked on me long enough.
Why these thoughts? Well, I haven't "talked" to you (those who care!) in a while because the "G" family has been knocking at my door. Pounding actually. I've been having entirely too much fun being "in charge" of organizing a family reunion, I need to go to "facebookers annonymous", Charley needs swimming lesson . . . and ballet lessons, Maddie needs to giggle, my desk was feeling neglected under several piles (hard to reach the computer actually), several frames needed to be hung (which we did - and they look fabulous if I do say so myself), I need to find a Thursday babysitter, Charley needs a squeeze, dinner needs to be made - as do breakfast and lunch, I need to read a good book every now and again, and, of course, Ameri needs some attention too. The bootcamp is still in Grate mode so I'll get that one organized when Guilt sets in and then Grind can take over.
There are my excuses. I just thought I'd dress them up for you.

honey, these are no excuses, this is simply LIFE...at least that's MY excuse!
kristi, yet another thing we have in common! we both can eat way too much and we are both lazy! it is a good thing that we also enjoy working out and appreciate some organization! this summer, i think, my laziness has won more times than it should, but school will start soon and i will be down to 2 kids at home and maybe have more motivation to DO what needs to be done with more regularity!
I'll happily take a post from you whenver you get to it....excuses and all!!! Hang in there!
